SOCIO-ECONOMIC INFLUENCES WITH STUNTING INCIDENCE IN TODDLERS
Abstract
This research was carried out to determine the socio-economic influence on the incidence of stunting in Pongar Village, Cliff District, Karimun Regency. The research variables were socioeconomic (X) and stunting (Y), with a population of 36 people and a sample of 26 people. The research method for taking samples is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis using the research instrument test, prerequisite test and hypothesis testing Simple Linear Test Results produced a simple regression equation as follows: Y = 4.619 + 0.993 X1. The results of data processing showed that the regression coefficient for variable X1 (Social Economy) was positive. Statistical F test results, the value of k is 2 and the value of df 1 can be calculated 2 – 1 = 2, so df 2 = 26 – 2 = 24. With α = 0.05, we get F table = 4,260. from the results of the study it was found that the calculated F value obtained was 99,557 greater than the F table of 4,260 and with a sig level of 0,000 which means the sig value < (a) 0.05. Determination test (R2) of 0.798 / 79.8%. So it shows that the variable Cash Receipts and Socio-Economic Expenditure has an influence on the Stunting Incidence variable by 79.8%, while the remaining 20.2% is explained by other variables.
