THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND WORKING MOTIVATION TOWARD EMPLOYEE'S WORKING PRODUCTIVITY IN PT ROYAL AGRO INDONESIA

Abstract

The research aims: 1) To find out the influence of leadership style toward employee's working productivity in PT Royal Agro Indonesia, 2) To find out the influence of motivation toward employee's working productivity in PT Royal Agro Indonesia, 3) To find out the influence of leadership style and motivation toward employee's working productivity in PT Royal Agro Indonesia. The research method used is the quantitative method with descriptive approach, comparative approach, and associative approach employing questionnaire as the data collection tool. The sample taken is 95 employees of 125 population in PT Royal Agro Indonesia. For determining the sample amount, the study applied the Slovin formula with a 5% error level. The analysis tool used is regression correlation. From the analysis, the influence of leadership style toward employee's working productivity in PT Royal Agro Indonesia was determined by directive leadership, supportive leadership, participative leadership, and achievement-oriented leadership by 0,8%. The influence of motivation toward employee's working productivity in PT Royal Agro Indonesia is determined by the need for physiology, feeling secure, socialization, appreciation, and self-actualization by 74,4%. The influence of leadership style and motivation toward employee's working productivity in PT Royal Agro Indonesia was determined by skill, improving the result obtained, passion to work, self-development, quality, and efficiency by 74,4%.
