Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of public sector accountability on the performance of public organizations in the Padang City Resort Police agency. The sample in this study amounted to 40 personnel of the Padang City Resort Police using purposive sampling techniques.The results showed that accountability had a significant effect on the performance of the Padang City Resort Police agency. This is evidenced by the R value of 0.956. This proves that the effect of public sector accountability on the performance of public organizations can be calculated by a percentage of 95.6%, the remaining 4.4% is influenced by other variables that are not in this study.
